Hourly Pay + Commission

Hours: 7-8/ week, more hours will quickly become available as we onboard new clients. The schedule can be moderately flexible.

Clean drivers license and moderate experience driving a trailer are required.

Reagan Lawn Care is looking for someone who wants to take over a new route for a lawn maintenance, fertilization, weed treatment, and soil nutrient amendment business. We look to combine the lawn mowing and lawn treatment business into one. By being on site every week we can identify problems earlier than the quarterly spray service to provide a better looking lawn. 

We are looking for our first employee to help run the route of  5+ homes and support Conway LIttle League with 4 hours per week of paid service that RLC donates.

The goal is to grow this into a full time (40 hr/wk) route. 

All equipment will be provided.

Each house will require you to review the specifications of each job before performing work in our digital CRM software. Typically this requires mowing, edging, line trimming, and blowing down concrete. RLC also frequently trims hedges, but also takes great care and pride in being detail oriented.

Additional upsell services include, fertilizing on an annual schedule, weed treatment (preventative and curative), soil amendment treatment, and other ad hoc services. The technician will be expected to provide some of these services under direct supervision and instruction.

The work will be seasonal, starting with every-other-week service until March, giving us time to onboard new clients before the spring.

Paid equipment maintenance can also be made available. This can include sharpening mower blades, cleaning equipment, and organizing the workspace.

Requirements:

• Valid drivers license

• Experience driving truck with a trailer

• Pass background check

• Be able to lift 50-60lbs unassisted

• Strong communication and digital literacy

• Walk 5+ miles per day

• Use a stand on mower, line trimmer (weed whacker), edger, backpack blower, hedge trimmer, 4 gal backpack sprayer safely

• Calculate and measure liquid and granule products for safe application via spreader and sprayer

Preferred Skills:

• 2+ years of lawn care experience 

• Ability to line trim, edge, and blow quickly and efficiently

• Ability to back up a trailer

• Experience spraying herbicides, fungicides, and possibly pesticides.

Pay:

• $18-24 per hour based on experience

• Commission for new clients

• Upsell commission

RLC has interest in purchasing an existing client list with validated contracts and referrals.
